Apartments

Crystal Plaza features oversized, light-filled studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments in Arlington with a variety of finish options designed to maximize space and everyday comfort. You can check out our available apartment styles here, and view all of our availability here.

Crystal Plaza offers flexible lease terms of 6-15 months. Our leasing team can explain current term options and pricing based on the apartment home you choose, or you can explore available options on our website here.

Private patios and balconies are available in many of the apartment homes at Crystal Plaza. You can view each of our apartment home layouts on our Floor Plans page here. If you are interested in a specific apartment home type, click “View Available Apartments” to see the detailed features for each individual home, including balconies or patios.

Washer and dryer sets are available in most, but not all, apartment homes. For apartments without in-home laundry, Crystal Plaza maintains two 24-hour mobile-app-based laundry facilities with high-speed washers and dryers.

Crystal Plaza apartment homes are cable- and high-speed internet-ready with Verizon Fios and Xfinity options. Residents are responsible for setting up and managing their own cable and internet connections.

All kitchens include a full-size refrigerator, stove, disposal, dishwasher, and microwave. Crystal Plaza apartment homes offer a variety of apartment styles, ranging from Classic to Premium, and may include upgraded appliances. You can learn more about our apartment styles here

Pricing & Fees

Crystal Plaza charges various fees associated with each unique lease.  You can find a high-level overview of our fees listed below; however, our leasing team will provide a full, itemized cost sheet for the exact apartment home you’re considering before you sign your lease.

Non-Refundable Fees

  • Application Fee - $50
  • Roommate Change - $500
  • Mid-Lease Transfer - $500
  • One-Time Pet Fee - $500 for 1 Pet or $1,000 for 2 Pets
  • Monthly Pet Rent - $60/Cat and $60/Dog
  • Amenity Fee - $250 at Move-In, $149 at Renewal
  • Reserved Parking Space (Surface Lot) - $150/Month
  • Unreserved Parking Space (Garage) - $100/Month
  • Unreserved Parking Space (Surface Lot) - Included in Rent
  • Move-Out Cleaning Fee (Mandatory) -- $165 (Studio & 1BR) $175 (2BR and 3BR)
  • Building Protection Plan - $10/Month

Refundable Fees

  • Standard Security Deposit - $350 up to 2 months’ rent (based on credit approval), determined individually for each applicant

Crystal Plaza has parking spaces available for residents and guests in both a surface lot and a parking garage. Resident parking fees are listed below:

  • Reserved Parking Space (Surface Lot) - $150/Month
  • Unreserved Parking Space (Garage) - $100/Month
  • Unreserved Parking Space (Surface Lot) - N/A

Please note that parking spaces are subject to availability. Our leasing team can assist with more information at any time.

Guest parking is available for $5 for the day (until 10 PM) or $10 per night (overnight parking)

Management & Customer Service

Crystal Plaza is owned and managed by Dweck Properties. You can learn more about us here!

The Dweck Customer Service Pledge guarantees that if we haven’t met your expectations, within the first 30 days of your lease start, simply provide a 30-day written notice to either 1) transfer to another residence within your community, 2) transfer to another Dweck community, or 3) break your lease – no questions asked and no additional fees.

Crystal Plaza has an on-site maintenance team with 24-hour emergency maintenance support. Residents can submit non-emergency maintenance requests through the resident portal/mobile app, or can call our dedicated resident phone number for emergency maintenance needs. The Dweck Properties Customer Service Pledge guarantees that during weekdays, any non-emergency maintenance requests, questions, or concerns submitted will receive a personal response within two business days. If we cannot complete the non-emergency maintenance request within two business days, you will be notified of the status and when to expect resolution.

Pets

Your pets are welcome at Crystal Plaza, but we do have specific breed restrictions. Each apartment home allows up to two pets. Cats and dogs require a $500 one-time fee and $60 monthly pet rent. You can find more details on our Pet Policy here.

Neighborhood

Crystal Plaza is located in Crystal City, a vibrant neighborhood in the center of National Landing, Arlington, Virginia. National Landing connects the Crystal City, Pentagon City, and Potomac Yard neighborhoods into a walkable downtown district near Washington, D.C., with restaurants, retail, transit, and trails close to home. The Crystal Plaza neighborhood has a fantastic WalkScore of 88 and is surrounded by restaurants, shopping, and retail centers. Most daily errands are within easy walking distance, supporting a car-light lifestyle. For access to nearby communities, Crystal Plaza sits atop the Metro and next to extensive public transportation options, including the Virginia Railway Express and Reagan National Airport.

Crystal Plaza has direct access to Crystal City restaurants and retail, with hubs for both on Crystal Drive and 23rd Street just steps away. The neighborhood layout makes quick meals, coffee runs, and routine errands feel simple.

The Whole Foods Daily Market on Crystal Drive is closest, with Whole Foods Market and Harris Teeter nearby for weekly groceries and essentials. The Pentagon City Costco is also conveniently located nearby for bulk items and household staples.

The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City Mall, Pentagon Centre, and Westpost at National Landing (formerly Pentagon Row) are all nearby, offering a wide range of shops and dining options to cover all your retail needs.

Ample dining and nightlife options are available within a few blocks of our community along Crystal Drive and 23rd Street for walkable evenings out. The Alamo Cinema & Drafthouse is nearby for movies paired with food and drinks, while Lucky Strike bowling and arcade are across the street.

Crystal Plaza features a 24-hour fitness center with a yoga room and group fitness classes, making workouts convenient without ever leaving the building. For more variety, Movement Crystal City offers nearby indoor rock climbing and training. Crystal City and Pentagon City also offer expansive fitness studio options, like [solidcore], CorePower, PureBarre, Orangetheory, and CrossFit at Brazen Fitness.

Crystal Plaza connects easily to local trails, parks, and bike paths in National Landing, including the beloved Mount Vernon Trail & Bike Path, an 18-mile paved multi-use trail that stretches from George Washington's Mount Vernon to Theodore Roosevelt Island. Complimentary bike racks make it easy to store a bike for commuting or weekend rides.

You can get a first-class view of airplanes coming in and out of the airport along the Potomac River at Gravelly Point Park, or enjoy the Long Bridge Aquatics & Fitness Center, jogging trails, and green spaces at Long Bridge Park. The brand new Metropolitan Park (locally known as “Met Park”) is another nearly outdoor destination featuring green space, playgrounds, dining, and community activations. Many residents choose either a car-free or car-light life at Crystal Plaza! Our community is close to many public transportation options as well as nearby conveniences such as grocery stores, dining, shopping, and fitness centers. Commuting, errands, and more are very doable on foot, by bike, or via public transportation like the Metro.

Crystal Plaza sits one block from the Crystal City Metro Station and is close to the Pentagon City Metro Station and the Crystal City Virginia Railway Express station, keeping commutes and trips into downtown D.C. simple and easy.

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport sits one Metro stop away from Crystal Plaza (a direct ride on the Blue/Yellow lines). Sometimes our residents even walk to the airport! While it’s not a super straightforward route to walk now, there are future plans for a more direct pedestrian bridge connecting Crystal City to DCA between Crystal Drive and Terminal 2. Very exciting!

Crystal Plaza is just a few blocks from the Crystal City Virginia Railway Express station. The VRE is a great option for those who commute regionally beyond Metro routes, providing rail service from downtown Washington, D.C. to major Virginia suburbs along the I-66 and I-95 corridors.

Resident Events

Crystal Plaza hosts social events and activations for our residents multiple times a month. These get-togethers are a fun and casual way to meet your neighbors and get to know the Crystal Plaza team! Crystal Plaza hosts fitness classes for our residents, like Zumba or yoga. The exact schedule is subject to change, so please reach out to us for details!

Crystal Plaza partners with Volo Sports leagues to offer free spaces for our residents to play on teams at nearby locations, such as the Club Volo beach volleyball courts and bowling at Lucky Strike.

Military & Employer Discounts

Crystal Plaza’s Preferred Employer Program supports local public service and community-serving professionals.

The program offers 3% rent concession and a waived application fee for eligible applicants with the following professions:

  • Firefighters
  • Police
  • Any school personnel (teachers, admin, custodial, etc.)
  • EMS/EMT (Emergency Medical Services/Technicians)

 

In order to qualify for the discount:

  • The professional must live and work in the same county/city as Crystal Plaza
  • The applicants must provide proof of employment via a paystub or otherwise
  • If another special discount is offered for the apartment home the applicant would like to rent, they can choose that special pricing or the 3% discount, but not both

We also offer a unique discount for Amazon employees.

Crystal Plaza is an active participant in the Military Rental Partnership Program (RPP), which means that we offer a 5% military discount to active-duty individuals who qualify through participating bases and defense organizations. The program may include waived security deposit, application, and credit check fees, subject to location- and organization-specific participation guidelines. Qualifying military situations such as active duty, deployment, change of duty station, reservist or National Guard activation, voluntary enlistment, draft, or release from active duty, allow early lease termination consistent with SCRA protections, without lease termination fees or concession payback charges when documentation is provided. Foreign Service members and Diplomats can request additional lease-break accommodations through the leasing team.
